VALUES

Our values are the foundation of Yunta

A core value of Yunta is social impact, and so we aim to help people have fulfilling jobs while minimising the displacement effects of automation.

Improving workers’ competence and offering more choice and greater opportunities, all have a direct impact on workers’ wellbeing. They also contribute to increase worker productivity and engagement, which not only has a valuable social impact but also makes business sense.

Part of our mission is to contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goal 8 agenda to provide full and productive employment and decent work for all women and men by 2030.
Everyone has a particular set of competences, abilities, strengths and weaknesses that makes them unique in their potential to add value to society.

Understanding this unique set helps people make the right choices on their paths to achieve personal happiness and wellbeing. The era of mass education, standard careers and for life jobs is gone. We embrace a new era in which we can all take the driving seat and navigate our own career challenges and opportunities.
Statistically, higher levels of education coincide with lower unemployment rates and higher salaries. We are strongly committed to keeping our solution affordable for individuals and bringing them suitable career development options.

Less than 1% of the global workforce has access to a coach or mentor.
Our goal is to collaborate in finding solutions for the rest of the workforce.
The changing labour market demands making lifelong learning a must. Workers today need to be continuously in a reskilling and requalification process.

This has become extremely important due to automation, which will lead to some skills becoming obsolete and many jobs disappearing, forcing workers to look for new careers.
In 5 – 10 years’ time the job market will look very different – just as it was different 10 years ago. Jobs like App Developer didn’t exist back then.

The future of labour depends on the balance between automation and the creation of new tasks, and most importantly on the ability of workers to transition from one skillset to another. We believe this is an untapped opportunity that can not only maintain jobs but also help employees achieve better career prospects.

The best is yet to come.

When team and organisation share the same vision and are aligned towards a common goal, it’s magic!

We started Yunta because the future of work is already here

  • Digital transformation has led to new ways of working. Now we are always on access, working remotely and in agile environments.

  • Not having the right staff is hurting organisations’ performance. Companies need to move beyond the traditional hiring and training strategy.

  • Automation is changing the way we work. Jobs and tasks are becoming obsolete, while new skill requirements emerge.

  • One-size-fits-all staff training & development approach is outdated. Companies should switch to tailored training at scale.

  • Employee demands have evolved. Without a sense of purpose, it’s tough for employees to connect with the organisation. Developing a sense of purpose boosts staff engagement, motivation, and productivity, while reducing employee turnover.

In this rapidly-evolving world around, a passive approach on people’s development will only hurt your company’s performance.
